4/30 Troop meeting

Posted on May 3 2013 - 10:40pm

Hello Troop 426!
Tuesday we had our PLC and decided that next Tuesday (5/7)we are going to have a uniform inspection! Tuesday's meeting will be at the Sportsman's club because the church needs the fellowship hall. There will also be a PLC meeting Tuesday (5/7). Physicals will be on the 14th. If you received a health form via email that means you need to update your troop heath form. On the the 14th there will also be a township meeting. The military patrol has volunteered to do the flag ceremony that night. This is a great way to give back to our community. Friday May 4th is the cub scout mom & me campfire program. Bailey Elliott will be our master of ceremony. There are still some spots open for the civil war muster, sign up ASAP. We do not know how long these spots will be open.

4/23 Troop 426 meeting minutes

Posted on Apr 26 2013 - 8:11pm

Hello Troop 426,
Don't forget that summer camp money is due Tuesday the 30th, please see Mr. Brickley. We also have a PLC on Tuesday the 30th at 6:00pm. It would be nice if all Patrol Leaders and assistants could attend. The Patrol Leaders Council is a very important part of our Troop and leadership positions should not be taken lightly. We will be continuing the first aid and personal management merit badges until further notice. Sigh up for the civil war muster on Tuesday. This is the last meeting that the sign up sheet will be out. Registration is limited so it is important that if you commit to going you need to be present at the campout because the troop has to pay in advance. The canoe livery campout will be on May 17-19th. Just a reminder that if scouts want to use the canoes they must have passed the BSA swim test. We still need a scout to plan the Mom & Me campfire program for next weekend. It's a really good time and good for us to interact with the Cub Scouts.

Hello Troop 426!
This past weekend we had a ton of fun at the spring camporee at camp Teetonkah. Congratulations to Mr. Elliott and Mr. Carson who won the adult golden spoon contest. Zach Stachlewitz, Isaac Eversole, and Mr. Eversole participated in the OA call out ceremony and will attend the spring ordeal on April 26th. We have concluded our troop leadership training, thank you to Mr. Elliott. Thank you to Mr. Eversole for his past year of service as Scoutmaster. Mr. Elliott will be our new Scoutmaster. The remainder of your summer camp money is due April 29th. Don't forget to sign up for summer camp merit badges. We have enough interest in going to the civil war muster in Jackson on August 23-25. Please sign up via the website now. Registration is limited to 200 scouts and will sell out in a couple weeks. Cost is $20 and includes all meals. Looking forward to T-2-1 campout this weekend. There will be a sign up sheet at Tuesdays meeting for the cub scout mom and me campout campfire program on May 4th. We need a scout to be Master of Ceremonies. Please let me know if you are interested.
